Last week US sports giant New Balance finally opened the doors on their first European flagship store in the heart of London, on the iconic Oxford Street. Spread across 3 floors, it is the brand’s largest store to date, and covers the full New Balance product range, including both performance and lifestyle.
Clean and thoroughly modern, the shop floor is predominately steel and concrete, offset by stunning bespoke artworks from London based eco-artist Osian Batyka-Williams.
To celebrate the opening of this stunning store, New Balance held a VIP launch party, with music, drinks, food, and even a fashion show! They also released an exclusive two-pack, referencing the iconic Hackney Carriage taxi cab, and the brand made just 150 pairs of each model – a 1500 for men, and a 991 for the ladies, both hand crafted at the UK factory in Flimby!
