George Henry Bass was a simple man, with a simple mission; make the very best shoes.
He started his journey in Maine in 1876, and 50 years later his company went on to take a Norwegian farm shoe, designed for “loafing in the field”, and give it a stylish new twist; the Weejun was born.
You can’t deny the quality when entering the G.H. Bass pop up store on Dray Walk just off Brick Lane. The shoes sparkle and gleam, and contrast well against the minimalistic backdrop of wood, concrete, and metal.
As you can see the launch party last week was a stylish affair, with some very dapper ladies and gentlemen making an appearance.
If you’re after a quality Christmas present that will last for many years, this is the place to come. Or if you feel like treating yourself after the madness that is the Christmas period, that’s ok too; the pop up is open right through until the middle of January 2016!
