Last Saturday NeverNotOut were invited to a experience a wonderful pop up retail/art space hidden away in the back streets of Shoreditch.
Kit And Ace are a relatively new “technical cashmere” clothing brand for men and women, originating just over a year ago in Vancouver, Canada. Quickly building upon their successful blend of high quality clothing, technical innovation, and creative leadership, Kit And Ace are poised to “go global” in 2015, with stores opening in the US, Australia, Japan, and of course, London.
And to whet our appetite before said London store opens on Redchurch Street in early September, the team have launched a great little showroom space with all sorts of invite events for those in the industry.
There’s a small gallery space promoting local artists and photographers on the 1st floor, with the showroom/chill out space next up on the 2nd. Finally, there’s a meeting area on the top floor, leading through to wonderful roof terrace garden that is a perfect little suntrap.
For this friends and family launch, they also had Lisbon born London living illustrator and image maker Mr Phomer on site with his Polaroid camera, grabbing snaps of everyone, before taking each slide to the next level with his selection of permanent markers 🙂
Continuing the local theme, supplying the refreshments was the fantastic East London Liquor Company, whose incredible spirits can be tasted and bought at their amazing distillery in Bow Wharf by Victoria Park.
Stay tuned to NNO for more info on the launch of Kit And Ace‘s London HQ proper next month – we can’t wait!
